1. Scope & Overview
MaxValue offers returns, exchanges, and refunds under a straightforward, customer-first framework. This policy applies to all purchases through our U.S. website only and does not override any rights required by applicable law.
2. Return Timeframe
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for a full refund. After 30 days, your order may only be eligible for an exchange or store credit—for laptops, desktops, and related accessories.
3. Condition Requirements
Returned items must be:
- Unused and in like-new condition
- With original packaging, accessories, manuals, and any promotional items
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order number)
Items that are damaged, altered, or missing original components may only qualify for a partial refund, assessed pro rata based on condition.
4. How to Start a Return
- Contact our U.S.-based Customer Support within 30 days to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Securely package the item in its original box, including all accessories and documentation.
- Clearly mark the RMA on the outside of the package.
- Ship using a trackable method to our Returns Department (address provided with your RMA).
- Keep your tracking number for your records.
5. Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- COVID-free, damaged, or incorrect items? We cover the return shipping. A prepaid label may be included with your order—for others, return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- If using a prepaid label, a $10 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund to help offset shipping costs.
6. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund within 7 business days. Payment will be made via:
- Original method (credit/debit card)
- Store credit (if preferred or if your refund is partial)
Refunds may take 1–2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.
7. Exchanges & Store Credit
Prefer a replacement or alternate model? We offer:
- Direct exchanges (subject to stock availability)
- Store credit, valid for 365 days, ideal for returns past 30 days or for partial refunds due to condition issues
8. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
The following are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:
- Custom-configured laptops (e.g., engraved or special specs)
- Clearance or “Final Sale” items
- Software registered or activated in any way
- Accessories marked as “Final Sale” or hygiene-sensitive (e.g., used headsets)
- Bundled accessories offered at deep discounts
9. Restocking Fees
A 5% restocking fee applies to returned laptops or desktops that are still in resalable condition but involve administrative and handling costs.
10. Defective or Damaged Items
If your item is defective or arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with order details and photos.
- We’ll arrange for a replacement at no charge, or issue a full refund (your choice).
11. Missing or Incorrect Shipments
If you receive the wrong item:
- Notifications must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- We’ll send a prepaid shipping label for the return, then ship the correct item right away.
12. Documentation Requirements
To process your return or refund, please provide:
- Original order number or receipt
- Your full name and contact details
- Description of the issue (e.g., “defective screen”).
13. Policy Changes
MaxValue reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Changes will be noted here with a “Last Updated” date. Your continued use signifies acceptance of any updates.
